Oregon Police Chief Shawn Melville lists the following activity.
At 2:04 p.m., police took one 14-year-old male juvenile of Oregon into limited custody for purchasing a tobacco product as a minor.
This juvenile was released into his parent’s custody.
Police also took into limited custody one 16-year-old male juvenile of Oregon into limited custody for selling tobacco products.
This juvenile was issued a city citation for this violation and referred to the Ogle County State’s Attorney’s Office with a petition for juvenile delinquency requested. These violations occurred in the 600 block of Franklin Street.
One parking citation was issued from May 11-17.
