John Flynn, 49, of Milledgeville, was arrested at 10:54 p.m. for driving while under the influence of alcohol after Ogle County Sheriff’s deputies conducted a traffic stop in the 4,000 block of West Illinois 72 on a Harley Davidson motorcycle for a traffic violation. Flynn was transported to the Ogle County Jail and released on a $3,000 I-Bond.
Kenneth Ankney, 56, of Bloommington was cited at 8:41 a.m. for driving while license revoked after Ogle County Sheriff’s Deputies performed a traffic stop in the 4,000 block of South Chana Road. Ankney was released on an I-Bond at the scene.
Arthur Harris Jr., 57, of Rockford, was arrested at 12:58 p.m. for driving while under the influence of alcohol and driving while license revoked after Ogle County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the 3,000 block of West Illinois 64 in reference to a driving complaint where the Mt. Morris Police had made contact with the vehicle and driver.
Harris was additionally issued a citation for improper lane usage. Harris was later released on an I-Bond to appear in court at a later date.
At approximately 1:33 a.m. deputies were dispatched to 4497 W. Otter Road in reference to a 911 hang up. Upon further investigation it was determined the hang up was accidental, however deputies discovered a large underage drinking party at the location.
Twenty-nine citations were issued to individuals for consuming alcohol under the age of 21. The individuals were released on I-Bonds and given future court dates.
