Oregon's first official pub crawl is Saturday, March 14

Oregon is hostiing its first official "pub crawl" Shamrock the Town on Saturday, March 14.

"Come on out to Oregon on St.Patty's Day weekend for a hilarious, unforgettable time," said Liz Vos, executive director of the Oregon Chamber of Commerce.

Tckets must be purchased before March 5 to be guaranteed an official pub crawl shirt. Tickets are available online at at all participating pubs and at Hazel's Cafe, Hectors Cocina, JTI Salon and Spa, Merlin's Greenhouse and Flowers, and The Chamber of Commerce.

"Come check in at the Chamber office between 2 and 4 p.m. on March 14 to begin your shenanigans!," said Vos.

Included in the ticket price are: a free T-shirt, two free drink tokens, six free food tickets, a free courtesy shuttle to transport you and your friends, bar games, scorecard, prizes, and a map.

Participating bars are: Cork n Tap, Breakers Saloon and Eatery, Chile Pepper , Franklin Street Pub, The Hunt Club, Messies Bar and Grill, Northside BarbaQ, Sledgehammer’s, and Tipsy Hog.

"Points will be awarded throughout the night for things like dressing in costume, going to all participating bars (2x points for outlying bars), and being good at crazy pub games (like Jello Shot Jenga, Shamrock Shuffleboard, Foot bags and more!)," said Vos.

"Be sure to turn in your scorecards to us at Cork n Tap by 9 p.m. because there will be prizes and more shenanigans! Games, food, drinks, and lots of winners," she said.

Prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place and for best costume!. This event is limited to those 21 and older.
