Evelyn L. Arbogast, 86, lifelong Oregon resident, died on Monday, Nov. 19, 2018 at her home.
She was born on March 13, 1932 in Oregon, the daughter of Charles and Flossie (Hoffman) Mitchell.
She married Ronald Arbogast on Jan. 18, 1952 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Evelyn attended Oregon schools and was employed at Quality Metal Finishing in Byron for 47 years, retiring in 1995.
She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and going to the casinos, and loved spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Ron Arbogast, of Oregon; son, Gary (Pam) Arbogast, of Oregon; grandson, Brent (Iris) Arbogast, of Lexington, South Carolina; step-grandson, Rich (Staci) Simmons, of Pinellas Park, Forida; great-grandchildren, Julian, Drake, Zachary, Aiden, Tyler, Amber and Brian; and great-great-grandsons, Sebastian and Brayden; brother, Ronald (Brenda) Mitchell, of Dixon; sister, Sharon (Gary) Miller, of Oregon; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents; brother, Carl Mitchell; and sister, Leona Fredericks.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, Nov. 23 at 11 a.m. at Farrell-Holland-Gale Funeral Home, Oregon, preceded by a visitation beginning at 10 a.m. Willie Little, Serenity Hospice chaplain, will officiate.
Burial will be at Riverview Cemetery, Oregon.
