Jeff Donaldson isn’t quite sure what he plans to do with the $13,140 he won as the winner of Autumn on Parade’s 60/40 raffle.
“Right now it’s going into the bank then I’m going to figure it out,” said Donaldson when he was presented the winning check from AOP President Marseyne Snow and 60/40 Chairman Dave Boehle on Oct. 13.
Donaldson won this year’s pot when his ticket was pulled from the official AOP ticket tumbler at the end of the festival on Oct. 8.
When Boehle called Donaldson to tell him he had the winning ticket, Donaldson said he was “shocked”.
“I was just in shock. I was totally surprised,” Donaldson said.
He bought the winning ticket from his aunt, Deb Mumford, who works at the Village of Progress.
“Thanks for buying a ticket and helping the festival,” said Snow.
Boehle said the total cash collected in the raffle was $21,900. He said Mumford will have to pay taxes on his winnings.
