Hypnotist to perform at SVCC

Sauk Valley Community College, Dixon, will host hypnotist Dan Lornitis on Thursday, Oct. 26 at 7 p.m. in the Mathis Theatre. Admission is free.

Lornitis brings energy to the stage with his larger-than-life personality and stage persona.

He captivates audiences with his fast-paced, good-humored performances and leads his volunteers through a safe and hilarious interaction with the subconscious mind.

Dan uses hypnosis to entertain, never to embarrass or humiliate anyone. It’s all good, wholesome, PG13-style entertainment.

Lornitis has done more than 4,000 live performances with sold out shows at theaters, casinos, colleges, and performing art venues across the United States.

He also performs on cruise ships, overseas for USO shows, has opened shows for personalities such as Weird Al Yankovic, Oprah Winfrey’s company HARPO Productions, and more.

For more information about the show, call Ana Salgado, student activities coordinator, at 815-835-6432.
