Throughout Homecoming Week Sept. 18-23, Forreston High School students from each class were involved in a variety of activities, contests and float building worth points.
The student body chose Lane Meyer and Anna Snider as Homecoming King and Queen.
They were officially crowned at the dance on Saturday night.
The following were members of the Homecoming Court:
Seniors – Tylor Behrends and Matt Akins, Marquia Maclin and Cade Kuelling;
Juniors – Grace Carr and Mark DeWall;
Sophomores – Kaylee Kloster and Austin Mitchell;
Freshmen – Cora Krigbaum and Jordan Neuschwander.
The results of the float competition is as follows.
The freshmen float theme was “Strike down the Bulldogs” finished in fourth place.
Freshmen advisors are Lynnette Frederick and Heather Politsch.
The sophomore float theme was “Rock and Roll over the Bulldogs” was judged second.
Sophomore class advisors are Nona Forster, Bob Nelson and Bob Wagner.
The winning float was the junior class entry “Rock the Bulldogs.”
Junior class advisors are Donna Gronewold and Lois Bollman.
The senior class float theme was “Strike the Bulldogs” finished in third place.
Senior class advisors are Anne Magarity and Keynon Janicke.
Final scores for class competition were:
Fourth place with a total of 2,800 points is the freshmen class,
Third place with a total of 3,800 points is the sophmore class,
Second place with a total of 4,450 points is the senior class,
This year’s winner with a total of 4,750 points is the junior class.
The hallways and downtown store windows were decorated by Lucia Heitter, Hanna Kasten, and the Cheer and Dance Teams.
