Anna Lee Thomas, 79, of Oregon, died on Monday, Aug. 26, 2019 at Pinecrest Manor, Mt. Morris
She was born on May 8, 1940 near Polo, the daughter of Harold and Kathryn (Roos) Jones.
She graduated from Oregon High School in 1958.
Anna married James B. Thomas on April 29, 1960 in Oregon. He preceded her in death on July 31, 2007.
She was a former member of the First Baptist Church on Oregon.
She loved to read, go to lunch with her friends, but most of all spend time with her children, grandchildren, and family members.
She is survived by her daughter, Lisa (Tom) Porter, of Machesney Park; son, Sam (Jodi) Thomas, of Oregon; brother, Michael (Rachel) Jones, of Oregon; seven grandchildren, Jay (Nichole) Porter, Andrea Porter (fiancée Trent Huntoon), Christina Porter, Rachel (Brian) Sneek, Matthew Thomas, Nolan and Olivia Thomas, and five great-grandchildren.
Anna was predeceased by her parents; husband, James; son, Brad Thomas; and brother, Robert Jones.
Funeral service will be held on Friday, Aug. 30 at 11 a.m. at Farrell-Holland-Gale Funeral Home, 110 S. Seventh St., Oregon, with the Rev. Rodney R. Caldwell, chaplin of Pinecrest Manor officiating.
Burial will be in the Oakwood Cemetery near Mt. Morris.
Visitation will be prior to the funeral from 9:30 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
A memorial fund has been established for the Serenity Hospice and Home.
