Anthony Brinkmeire, 54, of Byron, was arrested for driving while license suspended and two outstanding Stephenson County warrants after a traffic stop at 5 p.m. near the intersection of Dixon and Franklin Streets in Polo. He was transported to the Ogle County Jail where he was held in lieu of bond.
Joan C. Stanis, 57, of Leaf River, was arrested on an outstanding Rockford warrant for failure to appear on a charge of retail theft after a traffic stop at 12:30 p.m. at 508 Main St., Leaf River.
Dylan Bryant, 27, of Rochelle, was arrested in Winnebago County on an outstanding Ogle County warrant for possession of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, and possession of cannabis with intent to deliver. He posted $100,000 (10%) bond, was released, and is scheduled to appear in court on June 14.
Timothy Huinker, 61, of Hillcrest, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol after a motorcycle accident at 9 p.m. in the 1400 block of South Blackhawk Road.
He was traveling north when he lost control of the motorcycle prior to entering a curve and crashed.
Huinker was located next to his motorcycle in the northeast ditch and was transported by Oregon ambulance to Javon-Bea Hospital-Riverside, Rockford, for treatment of multiple injuries.
He was also cited for failure to reduce speed and improper lane usage.
Huinker was given a 3,000 I-bond and a return court date.
The Oregon Fire Department also assisted at the scene.
Deputies responded at 5:30 p.m. to the 8900 block of North Illinois 2 for a motorcycle accident.
Jessica Harmon, 39, of Rockford, was traveling northbound when she lost her balance and crashed, coming to rest against a tree.
She was transported by Byron ambulance to Javon Bea Hospital-Riverside, Rockford, where she was treated for non-life threatening injuries.
Timothy J. Patzka, 49, of Batavia, was arrested for possession of methamphetamine after deputies met with a Lee County deputy at an address on Lincoln Lane outside of Rochelle about an illegal dumping complaint that took place in Lee County.
Patzka had two valid warrants for his arrest, one from Kendall County and one from LaSalle County.
While being placed in custody for the warrants, a baggie containing methamphetamine was found on Patzka’s person. He was transported to the Ogle County Jail and held in lieu of bond.
