May 13

Gregory Knuuttila, 40, of Cortland, was arrested on an outstanding Ogle County warrant for improper use of registration. He was held at the Ogle County Jail on a $15,000 (10%) bond pending a court appearance.

May 14

Trei Sanders, 24, of Freeport, was arrested for domestic battery after deputies and Mt. Morris Police were called at 4:09 a.m. to an address on North Everett Street near Mt. Morris. Sanders was transported to the Ogle County Jail where he was held in lieu of bond.

Deputies responded to a one vehicle accident with an injury at 10:13 a.m. in the 5,000 block of East Illinois 64.

An SUV driven by Pamela Beecham, 54, of Mt. Morris, was eastbound when it traveled across the westbound lane and into the north side ditch before striking a tree.  

Beecham was transported to Swedish American Hospital by Oregon EMS for minor injuries.  

She was issued citations for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, improper lane usage, and operating an uninsured motor vehicle. The accident remains under investigation.

Thomas Price, 33, of Rochelle, was arrested on an outstanding Ogle County warrant for failure to appear. He was held in the Ogle County Jail in lieu of a$5,106.34 (full cash) bond pending a court appearance.

Joel Dach, 32, of Rockford, for was arrested on an outstanding Ogle County warrant for contempt of court. He has a full cash bond of $1,008 and is scheduled to appear in court on June 24.

Dewayne Harbach, 67, of Rockford, was arrested on an outstanding Ogle County warrant for failure to appear. He appeared in court and was issued a $1,000 recognizance bond pending a court appearance.

Dominic Mireles, 36, Rochelle, was arrested on an outstanding Ogle County warrant for failure to appear. He has a full cash bond of $883 pending a court appearance.

May 15

Alisza Cremeans, 19, of Oregon, was arrested for driving while license suspended after a traffic stop at 3:48 a.m. near the intersection of Illinois and Fifth Streets in Oregon.

Cremeans was also issued citations for operating an uninsured motor vehicle and failure to signal. She was transported to the Ogle County Jail where she was held in lieu of bond.

May 16

Brandon Cuddy, 25, of Rockford was arrested for driving while license suspended after a traffic stop at 3 a.m. in the 5,000 block of South Freeport Road. 

He was also issued a citation for improper lane usage and transported to the Ogle County Jail where he was held in lieu of bond. 

Justin G. Mattson, 22, of Belvidere, was arrested for speeding and driving while license revoked after a traffic stop at 9:19 a.m. on Stubb Road at Tower Road. He was transported to the Ogle County Jail where he posted bond and was given a June court date.

May 17

Jose Juan Nivarro, 48, of Rockford, was issued citations for no valid drivers license, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and no rear registration light after a traffic stop at 9 p.m. in the 9,000 block of North Illinois 2. He was transported to the Ogle County Jail and held in lieu of bond.   

May 18

Jonathan Hoskins, 27, of Rochelle, was arrested for domestic battery after deputies were called at 2:06 a.m. to a physical domestic dispute on Sunflower Lane, Rochelle. Hoskins was transported to the Ogle County Jail and held in lieu of bond.

Dylan Janssen, 19, no address given, was arrested for consumption of alcohol by a minor after a traffic stop at 1:42 a.m. in the 7,000 block of South Illinois 26. He was transported to the Ogle County Jail where he was released to jail staff in lieu of bond.

Tabatha Clarkson, 26, no address given, was arrested for no valid driver’s license after a traffic stop at 5:45 p.m. at 901 W. Washington St., Oregon. She was transported to the Ogle County Jail where she was released to correctional officers in lieu of bond.

May 19 

Deputies responded to the Grand Detour area at 9:19 p.m. for an accident with injuries. They learned that a car driven by Kaitlyn Dexter, 23, of Dixon, had fled the scene after striking a parked car and a pedestrian.  

The pedestrian, Brittany Vyas, 24, of Rock Falls, suffered minor injuries and was transported to KSB Hospital by Dixon Rural Ambulance.  

Deputies located Dexter and arrested her for leaving the scene of a personal injury accident, aggravated battery, and reckless driving.  

She was held at the Ogle County Jail awaiting a court appearance.  

Upon her release from the hospital, Vyas was charged with battery to Dexter for an incident that occurred prior to the accident.  

Vyas was also held at the Ogle County Jail in lieu of bond.  

The Lee County Sheriff’s Office, Dixon Police Department and the Whiteside County Sheriff’s Office assisted. The investigation is ongoing. 

Marissa Montero, 28, of Wisconsin was arrested for driving while license suspended after a traffic stop at 11:39 a.m. at the entrance to Rolling Meadows Trailer Park, Davis Junction. Montero was transported to the Ogle County Jail and held in lieu of bond.
