Four people have been charged with battery after two men were beaten in Chana on April 20.
Amber Koeller, 26, Steven Dodson, 41, and Patrick Christenson, 27, all of Chana, and Stephanie McGlinn, 27, of Byron, were each charged with two counts of battery and transported to the Ogle County Jail.
In addition, Koeller was charged with obstructing a peace officer, and Dodson was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol.
According to a press release from Ogle County Sheriff Brian VanVickle, the two victims were found at 10:45 p.m. at the scene of the incident near the intersection of Chana Road and Center Street.
Both were transported to an area hospital by Oregon EMS.
The offenders had already left the scene, but deputies stopped their vehicle at 11:35 p.m. as it traveled south on Chana Road and turned onto Grist Mill Road.
Koeller and Dodson were arrested then, and deputies later located Christenson and McGlinn and arrested them.
All four posted bond and were released from the jail. Koeller and Dodson are scheduled to appear in court on May 10, and Christenson and McGlinn have May 17 court dates.
