Oregon Police Chief Darin DeHaan reports the following police activity.
At 6:12 p.m., police responded to a disturbance in the 100 block of North Seventh Street resulting in taking one 16-year-old male juvenile of Oregon into limited custody for domestic battery.
The juvenile was released into a parent’s custody with a referral to the Ogle County State’s Attorney being forwarded.
Brianna L. Bendis, 25, of Mt. Morris, was issued citations at 9:09 p.m. for not having a valid driver’s license and operating an uninsured motor vehicle. These violations occurred in the 1200 block of West Washington Street.
Jeffrey Milburn, 43, of Byron, was issued a citation at 5:30 p.m. for violating the removal of snow from sidewalks in the commercial district ordinance, Sec. 32-35. This violation occurred in the 100 block of South Fourth Street.
Richard E. Jacobson, Jr., 61, of Oregon, was issued citations at 7:53 p.m. for no tail lights on trailer and operating an uninsured motor vehicle. These violations occurred in the 1200 block of West Washington Street.
Amaria D.F. Davison-Neace, 18, of Rockford, was issued citations at 7:42 p.m. for speeding, 46 mph in a 30 mph zone, and operating an uninsured motor vehicle. These violations occurred in the 700 block of North Fourth Street.
Tahwnee B. Spencer, 27, of Rock Falls, was issued a citation at 9:44 p.m. for operating an uninsured motor vehicle. This violation occurred in the 600 block of North Fourth Street.
Samantha L. Brown, 30, of Polo, was arrested at 9:50 p.m. for an outstanding Lee County warrant for failure to appear, driving while license suspended, and two counts of possession of a controlled substance. Brown was issued a civil citation for possession of drug paraphernalia and issued Illinois state traffic citations for illegal transportation of alcohol as a driver and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.
Brown was transported to the Ogle County Jail.
These violations occurred in the 100 block of North Fourth Street.
Nineteen parking tickets and 10 verbal/written warnings were issued from Feb. 18 through Feb. 24.
