Enjoy great food and competition at the annual What’s Cookin on Saturday, April 13.
Business owners or individuals who think they’re good cooks can prove it with a team at the event planed for 5 to 8 p.m. at Barnacopia, 2570 N. West Branch Rd., Polo.
Openings ares till available for teams making appetizers, side dishes, main dishes, and desserts in the adult categories.
Several tables are also open in the junior chefs category.
Junior chefs are judged as their own category with their own trophy and will also be included in the overall judging for People’s Choice trophy.
Last year more than 500 people purchased tickets and then strolled through the museum at Barnacopia tasting samples of the best of Ogle and Lee County cuisine.
Tickets are $20 per person and are available at Rock River Center, 810 S. 10th, Oregon, or at the door.
All of the proceeds from What’s Cookin go to the Rock River Center to fund resources, activities, and services aimed at improving the quality of life for Ogle County’s older adults, the disadvantaged, caregivers, and the greater community.
