Jan. 30

Meg Moorehead, 26, of Mt. Morris, was arrested on an outstanding Ogle County warrant for failure to appear. She posted the $85 full cash bond and was released from the Ogle County Jail with no further court date needed.

Jan. 31

Andre Peat, 18, of Sterling, was arrested on an Ogle County warrant for failure to appear. He was held in the Ogle County Jail on a full cash bond of $1,941 pending a court appearance.

Brittany Grubbs, 24, of Rockford, was arrested on an Ogle County warrant for failure to appear. She was held in the Ogle County Jail on a full cash bond of $913 pending a court appearance.

Feb. 2

D.C. Hitchcock, 31, of Oregon, was arrested for aggravated battery to a senior citizen and domestic battery after deputies responded at 3:45 p.m. to a report of a domestic dispute at 5773 E. Brick Rd., in rural Oregon.

Hitchcock was transported to the Ogle County Jail where he was held in lieu of bond.

Feb. 3

Scott Shirley, 30, of Mt. Morris, was arrested for disorderly conduct after deputies responded at 12:23 a.m. to a disturbance in the Mt. Morris Estates Trailer Park.

Shirley was transported to the Ogle County Jail where he was held in lieu of bond.

Feb. 4

Lawrence Williams, 32, of Chicago, was arrested on an outstanding Ogle County warrant for driving 15-20 mph over the limit. He posted the $1,500 (10%) bond and was released with a court date of March 1.

Teresa Ortiz, 48, of Ashton, was arrested for driving while license suspended after a traffic stop at 9:44 a.m. in the 5,600 block of South Chana Road. She was transported to the Ogle County Jail where she was held in lieu of bond.
