Jan. 20

Laurie J. Giese, 61, of Oregon, was issued a citation at 9:41 p.m. for use of a cell phone while driving. This violation occurred in the 100 block of North Fourth Street.

Jan. 21

Karissa C. Call, 24, of Polo, was issued a citation at 3:15 p.m. for operating an uninsured motor vehicle.This violation occurred in the 400 block of Adams Street.

Jan. 23

Carlos Sotelo-Espindola, 34, of Mt. Morris, was issued a citation at 3:24 p.m. for having an unlawful tint window. This violation occurred in the 100 block of North Fourth Street.

Jan. 24

Duane A. Deuth, 59, of Chana, was arrested at 1:20 p.m. for driving while under the influence of alcohol. Deuth was also issued citations for improper lane usage and illegal transportation of alcohol as a driver. He was transported to the Ogle County Jail. These violations occurred in the 100 block of East Washington Street.

Troy W. O’Brien, 43, of Oregon, was issued a citation at 4:45 p.m. for use of a cell phone while driving. This violation occurred in the 100 block of North 14th Street.

Jacob L. Payne, 34, of Dixon, was issued a citation at 12:04 a.m. for not having a valid driver’s license. This violation occurred in the 300 block of South Fouth Street.

Willie Singleton, 63, of Decatur, was issued a citation at 5:15 p.m. for speeding, 47 mph in a 30 mph zone. This violation occurred in the 600 block of North Fourth Street.

At 9:28 p.m., police responded to a domestic disturbance in the 400 block of North Fourth Street resulting in the arrest of Devin S. Bailey, 35, of Oregon, for two counts of domestic battery and violation of bond conditions. Bailey was transported to the Ogle County Jail.

Eighty four parking tickets and five verbal/written warnings were issued Jan. 21-27.
