Nov. 13

William D. Murray, 61, of Polo, was arrested at 2:23 p.m. at the intersection of Dixon and Union Streets in Polo for driving while licensed suspended, obstructing identification, and operating an uninsured vehicle.

Amanda L. Countryman, 28, of Compton, was arrested on an outstanding Ogle County warrant for failure to appear. She posted the $3,697 full cash bond and was released with no further court date needed.

Michael Frey, 53, of Rock Falls, was arrested on an outstanding Ogle County warrant for failure to appear. He posted $75 of the $2,790 full cash bond and was released with a court date of Nov. 26. 

Jason D. Shrader, 38, of Freeport, on an outstanding Ogle County warrant for failure to appear. He posted $75 of the $386 full cash bond was released with a court date of Nov. 26.

Nov. 14

Matthew Leather, 29, of Oregon, was arrested on an outstanding Ogle County warrant for failure to appear. After a court appearance, his bond was reduced from $1,153 to $125 which he posted pending a court date on Nov. 26.

Nov. 15

Michael Pierce, 32, of Stillman Valley, was arrested for domestic battery. He was transported to the Ogle County Jail where he was held pending a court appearance. 

Deputies responded to a two-vehicle accident at 1:04 p.m. on Illinois 38 near the intersection of Woodlawn Road. A eastbound car driven by Brianna Baker, 19, of Rochelle, went out of control on the snow covered roadway and struck the rear of a semi tractor-trailer driven by Jose Contreras-Barrera, 31, of Mexico.  

No injuries were reported as a result of the accident, which remains under investigation.

Deputies, along with the Rochelle Fire Department, Rochelle ambulance, and the Illinois State Police responded to a two-vehicle accident at 1:05 p.m. in the 19,000 block of Illinois 38. 

An eastbound car driven by Demi Smith, 21, of Creston, went out of control and slid into the westbound lane where it was struck by a westbound semi tractor trailer combination driven by Alan White, 52, of Maple Park. Both Smith and White refused medical attention at the scene.

Tina Cupp, 50, of Rochelle, was arrested on an outstanding Ogle County warrant for failure to appear. She could not post the $1,457.57 full cash bond was held in jail pending a court appearance.

Ethan Eklund, 21, of Oregon, was arrested on an outstanding Ogle County warrant for failure to appear. He could not post the $1,795 full cash bond and was held in jail pending a court appearance.

Gregory Stone, 39, of Rockford, was arrested on an outstanding Ogle County warrant for failure to appear. He could not post the $1,921 full cash bond and was held in jail pending a court appearance.

Jonathan Early, 25, of Rockford, was arrested on an outstanding Ogle County warrant for failure to appear and credit card fraud. He could not post bonds bond of $10,000 (10%) and $1,000 (full cash) and was held in jail pending a court appearance.

Myron Simmons, 45, of Normal, was arrested on an outstanding Ogle County warrant for failure to appear. He could not post the $994 full cash bond and was held in jail pending a court appearance.

Jonna Blatchford was arrested at 9 p.m. in the 8,000 block of Illinois 251 for driving while license suspended, no valid driver’s license, and speeding. She was transported to the Ogle County Jail where she was held in lieu of bond.

Nov. 16

James T. Spain, 32, of Stillman Valley, was arrested on an outstanding Ogle County warrant for driving while license suspended or revoked. He posted the $3,000 (10%) bond and was released with a Dec. 7 court date.

San Mateo Trejo Jr., 24, of Chicago, was arrested on an outstanding Ogle County warrant for failure to appear and petition to revoke. He was unable to post bonds of $864 (full cash) and $3,000 (10%) and was jailed pending a court appearance.

Trei Sanders, 24, of Freeport, was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol, driving while license suspended, and leaving the scene of an accident after deputies responded to a hit and run on Gristmill Road east of Chana Road. He was transported to the Ogle County Jail where he was held in lieu of bond. 

Nov. 17

Tiffany R. Fabish, 33, of Davis Junction, was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol, improper lane usage, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, possession of cannabis, and possession of drug paraphernalia in the 10,000 block of East Illinois 72. Fabish was transported to the Ogle County Jail where she was held in lieu of bond. 

At approximately 5:47 a.m., deputies, Oregon EMS, and Mt. Morris EMS responded to a one-vehicle accident with an injury.  

After investigation, deputies learned Andy McClearin, 44, of Rock Falls, was traveling northbound in the 1,000 block of North Daysville Road in his Ford Focus. 

He was driving around a curve when he lost control on the snow-covered road and traveled off the east side of the roadway before striking a tree head on.  

He was transported to KSB Hospital, Dixon, by Mt. Morris EMS for minor injuries.

Nov. 18

Nicholas Pillion, 18, of Rochelle, was arrested on an outstanding Ogle County warrant for consumption of liquor as a minor. He did not post the $5,000 (10%) bond and was held in jail pending a court appearance.

Nov. 19

Daniel Moreno, 27, of Rockford, was arrested on an outstanding Ogle County warrant for failure to appear. He did not post the $787 Full Cash Bond and was held in jail pending a court appearance.

Kaleb Harrolle, 19, of Freeport, was arrested on an outstanding Ogle County warrant for probation violation and failure to appear. He had a bond of $3,000 (10%) and $1072, but was given a $1,000 bond recognizance for both charges. He was released with a court date of Dec. 10.
