Nov. 7

Michelle L. Pickerell, 39, of Oregon, was arrested on an outstanding warrant for failure to appear. Pickerell posted $275 as a full cash bond and was released with no further court date needed.

Nov. 8

Nicholas J. Cadie, 33, (town not listed), was arrested on an outstanding warrant for criminal damage to property. Cadie’s bond was set at $3,000 (10%) pending a court appearance.

Shannon D. Day, 24, of Rock Falls, was arrested on an outstanding warrant for failure to appear. His full cash bond was set at $757.

Day was released on a recognizance bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Dec. 13.

John A. Hitchcock, 35, of Oregon, was arrested on an outstanding warrant for failure to appear. Hitchcock posted $175 of the $1,829 full cash bond and was released. He is scheduled to appear in court on Nov. 26.

Autumn M. Nelson, 22, of Rockford, was arrested on an outstanding warrant for retail theft. Nelson posted the $3,000 (10%) bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Nov. 30.

At approximately 12:57 p.m., deputies stopped a vehicle in the 5000 block of North Illinois 26. After an investigation, Christopher Joles, 29, of Arena, Wisconsin, was arrested for driving while license revoked.

Joles was also issued a citation for disobeying a stop sign. He was transported to the Ogle County Jail where he was held in lieu of bond.

Nov. 9

Kelly Irvin, 56, of Oregon, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear. Irvin’s bond originally set at $2,666, but Irvin received a recognizance for $1,000 and was released. Irvin is scheduled to return to court on Dec. 31.

Deputies responded to the area of Illinois 2 and Townline Road for a report of a dark gray Ford, with a Missouri registration, traveling north at a high rate of speed.

The vehicle was located and stopped in the 7,000 block of North Illinois 2. The driver of the vehicle, Anthony T. Williams, 30, of Madison, Wisconsin, was found to have a suspended drivers’ license.

Williams was cited for speeding and taken into custody for driving while license suspended. He was issued an I-Bond at the scene and is due to appear in Ogle County Court at a later date.

Derick Gray, 36 of Joliet, was arrested at 12:13 a.m. for driving without a valid driver’s license following a traffic stop on I-39 at mile marker 103 for an equipment violation. Gray was transported to the Ogle County Jail where he was held in lieu of bond.

At approximately 6:50 a.m., deputies responded to a single vehicle accident in the 9,500 block of North Kishwaukee Road. A northbound vehicle being driven by Lisa Cortinas, 23, of Rockford, lost control and entered the north ditch. The vehicle then struck a culvert before coming to a rest.

Cortinas was transported to Swedish American Hospital by Stillman Valley EMS for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

She was cited for not having a driver’s license, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, driving too fast for conditions, and unsafe tires.

Nov. 12

Carli D. Janecek, 21, of Mt Morris, was arrested on an outstanding Ogle County warrant for failure to appear. Janecek posted the full cash bond of $212.18 and was released with no further court date needed.

Michelle Smitherman, 34, of Mt. Morris, was arrested for operation of an uninsured motor vehicle. Smitherman’s bond was set at $2,000 (10%) pending a court appearance.

Raheem J. Martin, 25, of Dixon, was arrested on an outstanding Ogle County warrant for failure to appear. He did not post the $475 full cash bond and was held in the Ogle County Jail pending a court appearance.
