RRC plans annual Summer Picnic

Unique handcrafted items will be for sale on Saturday, July 21 at 6 p.m. at the live auction at Rock River Center’s 10th annual Summer Picnic.

A handmade oak child’s table and two chairs, crafted by Bill Schabacker from trees on his property, and the pink and blue 72 X 112 “Trip Around the World” quilt, hand-quilted by Rock River Center’s quilters, will be two of the items on the live auction.

A silent auction will be held from 4 to 6:30 p.m., and Beesing Welding’s pork, Oregon Powerhouse BBQ’s preparation, and Dairy Queen’s ice cream sandwiches are part of the dinner served from 4 to 7 p.m.
