The Oregon High School Madrigals will host its annual dinner and performance on Friday, Dec. 8 and Saturday, Dec. 9 at 6 p.m. at Stronghold Camp and Retreat Center, 1922 Ill. 2 North, Oregon.

Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. for both events, which will be held in Stronghold’s Brubaker Center.

The cost to attend is $25 per person, which includes dinner and admission to the Madrigals’ performance.

Reservations can be made by calling 815-830-4774 or contacting Katie Sheridan at ksheridan@ocusd.net.

Checks should be made payable to Oregon High School Choir.

The Madrigal dinner is an OHS Choir holiday tradition, featuring choir members dressed in traditional renaissance attire, a brass quintet and a recorder choir.

Each year’s dinners take on a different theme for the evening. This year the theme is magic.

Dinner will be prepared by Stronghold’s kitchen staff under the management of chef Teri Faulkner.

A Stronghold favorite, chicken fried chicken with mashed potatoes, will be served with an additional three-course meal.
