Find that perfect Christmas tree at Sand Ridge

It’s still fall, but it’s not too early to think about finding the perfect Christmas tree.

Many families have visited Sand Ridge (formerly Sinnissippi Cut-it-Yourself Tree Farm) on South Daysville Road south of Oregon and left with that perfect tree.

Once again, beautiful trees will be available at Sand Ridge beginning Friday, Nov. 24.

Because the trees have been trimmed, they have no straggler branches and the cost remains low.

Pines and spruce will be $40; firs are $55 each.

Trees are sold by the Prairie Preservation Society of Ogle County as a service to the public and to pay for necessary maintenance on the natural areas in the preserve.
