Oregon started out with a run in the first inning to take the lead.
Parker Wolber got one strikeout and made two tosses to first baseman Cooper Blake at first for outs.
Polo came out strong bringing in five runs.
Wolber started the offense with a double. Spencer Scott singled.
Cole Faivre singled, bringing two runs.
Blake singled, followed by Colton Gunder doubled bringing in one run.
Brady Clark got a hold of one and brought in another run.
Polo tightened up defensively and held Oregon scoreless.
Wolber got two strikeouts and Joey Bardell caught a pop fly at second base. Polo did not score in second inning either.
Polo remained strong in the third inning with three outs from Gunder at catcher to Gavin Zell covering second to get base runner leading off.
Wolber had a strikeout and a toss to Blake at first.
Polo got hot offensively bringing in six additional runs in the third.
Wolber, Blake, Gunder hit all good singles in the inning.
Scott, Faivre, Clark all got doubles and RBIs were awarded to Faivre (2), Blake, Clark (2), and Tyler Merdian set down a great bunt to bring in final run of inning.
Oregon added two runs in the fourth.
Gunder at catcher caught the foul tip for first out of inning.
Bardell got a strikeout and Faivre threw out a runner to Clark at first.
Polo added on four more runs. Colton Taylor got a walk to start out inning.
Zell laid down a bunt that ended up as a double with an RBI.
Wolber got walked and stole bases and scored on a Faivre grounder.
Blake cracked a double and brought in Faivre. Gunder followed with a double of his own and brought in Blake.
The fifth inning was quick with a strikeout from Bardell, a catch in centerfield by Zell, and a play from Gunder at catcher to pitcher Bardell to Wolber at second to get runner trying to turn single into double.
