Rock River Center says thanks
Thanks so very much to all the attendees that helped make our 4th Annual “What’s Cookin” such a success.
In the first hour of the event 500 attendees passed through the doors of Barnacopia. The Bocker family is very hospitable and is a pleasure to work.
The fantastic vendors ended up serving 547 people. Last year, we were thrilled to have 425.
The food was scrumptious and plentiful, and the teams provided a huge variety.
The junior chefs were a big hit and we hope more teams and join us next year, as they had a great time also.
Your parents, aunts and uncles and grandparents are very proud of you and you are very much appreciated.
The sponsors were very generous and gave the event a kick start.
The success and great fun was due to everyone working together and doing their part to help the older adults, caregivers and the disadvantaged of Ogle County.
A huge thank you goes out to our volunteer committee as they ran their legs off marketing this event.
Their help and suggestions bring variety to the events.
As always, the staff at Rock River Center gave it their all to make this come together.
Most of them took part in the planning and many attend to volunteer or enjoy the evening.
We have great team work! Thanks!

Save the date for next year, March 24, 2018. Reserve your spot by calling Rock River Center at 815-732-3252 today.
I have a feeling that the spaces will fill up quicker next year.

Food drive was appreciated
A huge thank you goes out to Oregon-Mt. Morris Boy Scout Troop 52 for their thoughtful food drive April 1 to benefit the Mt. Morris Loaves and Fish Food Pantry.
All the items collected are much appreciated.
Their willingness in taking a beautiful Saturday to collect items for others speaks volumes for our area scouting program.
