Justin Provo earns Eagle Scout

In February, Justin Provo, Mt. Morris, earned the rank of Eagle Scout after completing a project he worked on at the Mt. Morris Coliseum.  

Provo collaborated with Wendy Lambrigtsen, Coliseum Board president, to renovate the stage in the gym. 

Provo, the son of Jay and Tammy Provo, is a member of Boy Scout Troop 99 and been a scout since 2002.

“He would like to thank everyone who helped him achieve his goal and volunteered their time to work on the project,” said his father Jay.  

“He would also like thank the following local businesses and individuals who donated money to the project: Pinecrest Community, Country Financial Insurance, Paul Smith Accounting, Lou Finch, Stan’s Performance, Plum Electric, Phil and Ferol Labash, Missy Clark, Deb Poggioli, and Sharon’s Salon and Spa,” Jay said. “Of special note is the Union Savings Bank of Mt. Morris for donating $500. “
