Kelci Foss is Oregon High School’s October Senior of Distinction, nominated by teacher Kim Radostits.

“As a student at Oregon High School, Kelci has always given everything she does her absolute best. She is extremely motivated and eager to learn," Radostits said.

"She is an active participant in class discussion and encourages her peers to join in as well. She collaborates well with others and is respectful of other opinions and perspectives," Radostits continued.

"She always provides insightful ideas and poses intelligent questions and epitomizes what it means to have a growth mindset. She is constantly pushing the boundaries of her knowledge and striving to do better.

"In class, she often asks to expand on an idea or topic so that she can get a deeper understanding."Furthermore, any task she is given to complete outside of class is done with care and often goes aboveand beyond the expectations of the assignment.

"Because of her passion for learning and work ethic, she truly is an exemplary student. Furthermore, Kelci consistently contributes to our school and community in other ways."

She is one of Oregon High School’s most active students in terms of service and is always willing to offer a helping hand, even if it means she has to shift around her own schedule.

"She is service minded and selfless and is more than deserving of any accolade," Radostits said.
