Milton L. “Miltie” Marceau, 79, Forreston, died Tuesday, Oct. 15, 2013 at Freeport Rehabilitation and Health Care Center after a long illness. He now resides with the Lord Almighty.
Milton was born Dec. 11, 1933 at Dance, Wis., the son of Clifford and Lula (Morey) Marceau.
Milton and Nancy Lawson were married Dec. 18, 1954 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
He was employed by Groenewold Fur and Wool Company for more than 30 years.
Milton is survived by his wife, Nancy; two sons, Loran (Marcie) Marceau, Forreston, and David (Katie )Marceau, Grand Detour; a daughter, Fern (Vernon) Kruse, Lanark; four grandchildren, Joshua (Brittney) Kruse, Lanark, Theresa (Travis) Kruse, Milwaukee, Wis., and Sawyer and Keandria Marceau, Forreston; sisters, Beverly (Michael) Serio, St. Charles, Doris (Kenneth) Rosenthal, West Bend, Wis., Ruth Juarez, Wautoma, Wis., and Mary (Roy) Karnitz, Hancock, Wis.; sister-in-law, Annis Marceau, Hancock, Wis.; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers; Clifford Jr., Eldren and Morris Marceau; and one sister, Alice.
Memorial services will be Friday, Oct. 18 at 10:30 a.m. at North Grove Evangelical Church, 10384 Coffman Rd., Forreston, with Rev. Tim Hotchkiss, Pastor, officiating. Visitation will be 9:30 a.m. until the time of service at the church.
A memorial has been established in his name.
Cremation rites have been accorded.
