Emilie P. Keller

Emilie P. Keller, 75, Polo, died Monday, Oct. 7, 2013 at OSF St. Anthony Hospital, Rockford.  

She was the clerk for Eagle Point Township for many years, farmed in Carroll and Ogle County all her life, and drove the bulk milk pickup route.  

Emilie loved to sew, needle point, knit, paint, cook, and was an avid mower.  

She also loved taking long walks in the timber with her beloved Yorkie Korky.

Emilie was born March 10, 1938, in Carroll County,  the daughter of Joseph A. and Edna Marie (Senneff) Olson.

She married James “Jim” Keller on June 10, 1959 in Morrison.

Survivors include her husband, Jim; daughter, Jamie (Kevin) Budden,Freeport; granddaughter, Raegan Budden, Polo (formerly of Freeport).

She was preceded in death by her parents; infant sister, Judy; and sister, JoAnn Lawton,.

Visitation will be Friday, Oct. 11 from 4 to 6 p.m. and the services Friday, Oct. 11 at 6 p.m. at Polo Family Funeral Home, Polo.

In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established in her name.

Cremation rites will be accorded.
