Pauline M. Jecklin

Pauline M. Jecklin, 101, Polo, died Thursday, Sept. 19, 2013,  at her home.   Pauline was a homemaker.

She was very devoted to her friends at the senior center and her church.  

She loved playing 42 (dominoes game) and gardening was a passion.

Pauline was born Nov. 14, 1911 in Hudson, Iowa, the daughter of John and Gertrude (Stoner) Cunningham.  

She married Conrad Jecklin on Oct. 1, 1933 in Princeton. He preceded her in death in 1996.

Survivors include a brother, Robert Cunningham, Mt. Morris; sister, Lora Lein, Wisconsin; grandchildren, Ilene (Chuck) Cain, Dixon, Mike (Angela) Hecathorn, Polo, Janet Kleinert, Lincoln, Neb., Rick Huyett, Dixon; great-grandchildren, Jen, Matt, Travis, Jacob, Linsey, Ryan, Tiffany, Lashalle, Kaylee, James; great-great-grandsons, Miley, Brian, Lucas and Antonio.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Joyce Huyett; sisters, Ruth Maxey, Marian Clark, Doris Slankard; brothers John Cunningham, Willis Cunningham.

The funeral were scheduled Wednesday, Sept. 25 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, Polo, with Terri Wilder, pastor, officiating.

Burial was at Fairmount Cemetery, Polo.

Visitation was scheduled for Wednesday, Sept. 25 from 9 to 10:30 a.m. at St. Marks Lutheran Church.

Memorials established to St. Marks Lutheran Church, Polo and the Polo Senior Center.
