Robert McAlonan

Robert “Fuzzy” McAlonan, 67, Quitman, Texas, died Sunday, Sept. 15, 2013 in Tyler, Texas.

He was born on Tuesday, May 21, 1946 in Chicago, to Robert William and Amanda McAlonan.  

McAlonan was a member of the Motorcycle Club for Whoelse Inc., Nelson, a member of the Lake Country Classic Car Club, and an avid biker, fisherman, and hunter.

He is preceded in death by his father, Robert William McAlonan.

He is survived by his wife, Frances, Kilgore, Texas; one son, James (Cheri) McAlonan, Prophetstown; and three stepsons, Frank (Tica) Stuart, Rock Falls, Andy (Christina) Stuart, Boone, Iowa, William Eads, Quitman, Texas; two daughters, Tammy McAlonan, Dixon, Larrisa (Steve) Blum, Sterling; one ex-daughter-in-law, Teresa Rigsby, Quitman, Texas; two brothers, Dale (Ann) McAlonan, Winona, Texas; Aleck (Sandy) McAlonan, Victoria, Kans.; three sisters, Barb Hargus, Big Sandy, Texas, Gail (John) Tuttle, Byron, Bert McAlonan, Quincy;  24 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Arrangements were completed by Beaty Funeral Home, Mineola, Texas.
