Mack Richard McCourt, 72, Oregon, died Saturday, July 27, 2013 at Neighbors Rehabilitation and Care Center, Byron.
He was born April 20, 1941 in Dixon, the son of Charles L. and Hazel P. (Kinn) McCourt.
Mack was a safety officer with Raynor, Dixon, and formerly worked at A-1 Cement Company, Dixon, Brian Bemis Auto Mall, Oregon, and was a barber in Oregon for many years.
He was a Vietnam War Army veteran, member of the V.F.W., and enjoyed playing golf.
He was loved by the many friends he made in the area.
Survivors include his children, Katherine (Rene’) Mexia, Colorado, and Matthew McCourt, Oregon; grandson, Liam Mexia; and brother, Charles (Brenda) McCourt, Oregon.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Graveside services will be held in Daysville Cemetery on Thursday, Aug. 8 at 10:30 a.m. with Pastor Jack Briggs officiating. No visitation will be held.
