Anna Mae Newhausen

Anna Mae Newhausen, 79, Auburndale, Fla., died on Sunday, April 14, 2013 at her home.

She was born on June 15, 1933 in Colton, S.D., to Hiko and Mary (Tervell) Hoting. She was an Auburndale resident since 1995, coming from Illinois.

Anna was a homemaker, avid bowler, loved to crochet, and travel with her husband. She and her husband were members of the Mt. Morris Moose Lodge.

Anna is survived by her loving and devoted family, including her husband of 62 years, Harold Newhausen, Auburndale, Fla.; two sons, Larry (Jody) Newhausen, Oregon, and Richard Newhausen, Byron; daughter, Barbara (Tom) Gobin, Sullivan, Mo.; brother, Henry Hoting, Indiana; sister, Barbara Vanhauen, Rockford; six grandchildren, Shaunda Thompson, Oregon, Tyler Newhausen, Oregon, Danny Newhausen, Stillman Valley, A.J. Newhausen, Lovesburg, Brandy Gobin, Sullivan, Mo., and Jason (Lyndsay) Gobin, Bourbon, Mo.; and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Private services will be held in Illinois.

Arrangements were completed by Kersey Funeral Home, 108 E. Lake Stella Drive, Auburndale, Fla.
