David L. Rahn basketball players help with fundraiser
Cold temperatures and wind didn't stop members of the David L. Rahn Junior High girls' basketball teams from helping at a fundraiser for a Mt. Morris resident who is battling cancer.
Seventh and eighth grade players manned manning a cheering station a the March 16 5K run/walk for Christy Eastman.
"The girls braved the weather, cheered the entire race and did an outstanding job," said coach Gretchen Nelson.
