Shiloh K. F. Balluff

Shiloh Kevin Franklin Balluff, 28, Mt. Morris, died Friday March 8, 2013 in Mt. Morris.

Shiloh was born to Anna M. (Cronk) and Kevin Balluff on Jan. 2, 1985 in Freeport.

He attended school in Mt. Morris. Shiloh worked various farm jobs, worked at a timber company in northern Wisconsin, Woods Equipment Company, Oregon, and for the past eight years he worked for Brian Duncan Farms, Polo.

Shiloh left behind three daughters, Hailie Kay Balluff, 10, Hannah Marie Balluff, 8, and Paige Angela Balluff, 6, all of Siren, Wis.; a very special love of his life, Stacy Harris, Mt. Morris; and Stacy’s daughter, Nicole (Ryan) Lantz, Savannah; mother, Anna M. and Gary D. Harper, Wyaconda, Mo.; father, Kevin Balluff, Rockford; sister, Brandi Akins (Dave) Hargraves Sr. and two children, David Jr. and Sean, Wyaconda, Mo.; sister, Heather (Michael) Merdian, Polo, and four children, Bo, Brody, Chrystal Shuman and Theodore Merdian, Polo; sister, Shannon Harper and child, Liam, Beaverton, Ore.; sister, Shianne (Toad) Wilson and three children, Nick, Travis, and Mason, Forreston;  four brothers, Jim “Duge” (Susan) Akins, and three children, Courtney Pruitt, Brittney, and Curtis, Forreston;  brother, Jeremiah (Rachel) Akins, and four children, Abby, Isaac, Isaiah, and Bethany, Polo; brother, Shane (Bambi Hinkle) Akins and two children, Matthew and Pypar, Leaf River; brother, Garrett (Cindy) Harper, Rockford.

His maternal grandparents were the late Theodore R. Cronk and Anna A. (Bruckart) Cronk, Mt. Morris; the late Roy Johnson, Springfield, and Dorothy F. (Snebbit) Johnson, Wyaconda, Mo.; the late Jim Akins and Alice (Albert) Akins, Forreston.

Paternal grandparents were Frank and Darlene (Huffman) Balluff, Mt. Morris, the late Rex Harper, Zepher Hills, Fla.; and Doyal and Mary Eakins, Ottumwa, Iowa.

He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Shiloh was preceded in death by a niece, Sarah Akins, the daughter of Jeremiah and Rachel Akins.

Visitation will be in Finch Funeral Home, 405 E. Hitt St., Mt. Morris, for family and friends on Thursday, March 14 from 6 to 8 p.m.
