Ogle County residents were busy Wednesday morning shoveling out from yesterday's snow storm.

Between 10-12 inches of snow fell across Northern Illinois during the 20-hour storm.

All school districts in Ogle County, as well as those in surrounding counties, cancelled classes on Tuesday in anticipation of heavy snow accumulations.

Ogle County offices closed at noon on Tuesday.

Winds picked up Tuesday night causing drifting on some rural roads.

Motorists are reminded to drive carefully as crews continue to clear highways and rural roads.
