Cardinals beat Sherrard 79-43 at West Carroll Shootout

The Forreston Cardinals traveled west to play Sherrard during the annual West Carroll Manny's Pizza Shootout Jan. 19.

Forreston returned home with a 79-43 win.

The Cardinals started out on a 10-0 run and continued scoring throughout the half with a 17 point lead.

Leading the way for the Cardinals was Robert DeVries with 16 points.

Nick Ludwig and Brett Carlson each had 14 points.

Justin Hughes finished the night with 11 points.

Ross Williams added 9 points and Wyatt Kerchner had 5 points.

Andrew Beasley and Brad Kasper each added 4 points to the score.

Braden Brace finished the game with 2 points.

DeVries had 9 rebounds and Ludwig 5 for Forreston.
