Virginia E. Schisler

Virginia E. Schisler, 82, Princeton, and formerly of Manlius, died Saturday, Jan. 12, 2013 at Coventry Living Center, Sterling.

She was born on April 1, 1930 in Summum, the daughter of Earnest and Francis (Scrogum) Easley.

She graduated from Astoria High School in the Class of 1948.

She married William E. Schisler on Aug. 21, 1949 in Springfield.

Virginia and William farmed for many years.

She is survived by her husband, William E. Schisler, Princeton; two sons, Craig Schisler, Polo, and Kevin Schisler, Morrison; and two grandsons, Jason Schisler, Madison, Wis., and Ryan Schisler, Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral services were held Jan. 15 at Grant-Johnson Funeral Home, Princeton, with Rev. Jeff McIlrath officiating.

Burial was in Manlius Cemetery, Manlius.

Memorials may be made to the Manlius Cemetery Association or the donor’s choice.
