Betty J. Crull, 84, Mt. Morris, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, Dec. 23, 2012 at Serenity Hospice and Home.

She was born on Nov. 12, 1928 in Ridott, the daughter of Frank and Gertrude (Kurli) Schoenhardt.

She worked as a secretary.

She enjoyed crafts and collecting angels.

She was a lifetime member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the VFW.

Survivors include sisters, Alice Cross and Lynn Thomas; brother, Frank “Butch” Schoenhardt; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was predeceased by her parents; husband, Gerald; daughter, Diana Allen; brother-in-law, Gene Cross; and sister-in-law, Carolyn Schoenhardt.

A special thanks to all the Serenity Hospice staff for their wonderful care. No visitation will be held, private family services will be held later.

Cremation with inurnment was done under the direction of Sunset Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established for her niece Kirah Elliot, who was in a car accident Dec. 10 and suffered several injuries along with a severe head injury. She is unconscious and on a ventilator.
