Laurie Hundertmark’s fourth grade class at Oregon Elementary School decided to start a school-wide fundraiser for the victims of Superstorm Sandy.
During the weeks between Thanksgiving and Christmas, classrooms were collecting money to be donated to the American Red Cross.
"We are pleased to announce that over $1,500.00 was collected," said Hundertmark. "Thank you to everyone who contributed."
