Diane K. Chandler

Diane K. Chandler, 72, Polo,died Sunday, Dec. 16 at OSF St. Anthony Medical Center, Rockford.

She was a supervisor of the disabled adults for Kreider Services, Dixon.

Diane was born, Dec. 15, 1940 in Polo, the daughter of Curtis and Aileen (Geary) Kuntzelman.

She was united in marriage to James Chandler on March 7, 1964 in Polo. He preceded her in death in 2010.

Survivors include her daughters, Audra Chandler, Polo, Lisa Chandler, Dixon, Dawn (Walter) Farrell, Washington, Iowa; a step-daughter Michele Chandler (Michael) Dilbeck, Dixon; son, Shawn (Johnna) Stultz, Washington, Iowa;  grandchildren, Jason (Julie) Farrell, North Liberty, Iowa, Amanda Farrell, Madison, Wis., Tayler, McKenzie and Zachary Stultz, all of Washington, Iowa, Garrett Chandler, Dixon; great-granddaughter, Lillian Farrell, North Liberty, Iowa; brothers-in-law, David (Mary Jo) Chandler, Dixon, and Scott (Patty) Chandler, Britt, Minn.; sisters-in-law Carol Chandler, Dixon, and Susan (Charles) Atchley, Sterling, Alice Chandler, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and close friends.

She was preceded in death by parents and a brother, Donald.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, Dec. 21 at 1 p.m. at Fairmount Cemetery, Polo.  A celebration of her life will follow from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Polo Senior Center.

Arrangements were completed by Polo Family Funeral Home.
