Oregon FFA is selling Christmas trees, poinsettias

The Oregon FFA Chapter and Eagle Bluff are currently selling Christmas trees at Sinissippi Farm and Forest.  

The tree farm, located at 2856 Lowden Rd. just south of Oregon, will be open for business through Saturday, Dec. 22. 

This holiday season the tree farm has added some new varieties and service including choose and cut Scotch pine trees, top quality pre-cut Fraser fir trees, Douglas and Fraser fir wreaths, white pine garland, and an on-site tree shaker and net wrapping are available.

Concession stand with hot chocolate, hot apple cider, and apple cider donuts from Cliff's Donuts and More.  

To help customers find the farm, signs are located on Daysville Road south of Oregon and Lowden Road near the entrance to the farm.  

As always members of Eagle Bluff and the Oregon FFA Chapter will be onsite to provide saws and assist in cutting and loading of the trees.  

The tree farm is open daily through Dec. 22.  Hours are Monday through Thursday from 12 to 4 p.m. and Friday through Sunday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

In addition to selling Christmas trees the Oregon FFA Chapter and Agriculture Department are once again selling poinsettias and fruit.  

Poinsettias currently growing in the Oregon High School Greenhouse cost $5 each and come in red, white, or pink.  

Various fruit baskets are available again this year including oranges, grapefruit, pineapples, tangelos, red delicious apples, golden delicious apples, and pears.  

All fruit and poinsettia orders are due no later than 3 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 10.  

All fruit and poinsettia orders will available for pick up at Oregon High School on Thursday, Dec. 13 from noon to 4 p.m.
