Lady Hawks fall to Dakota at volleyball sectional

Oregon's bid for a trip to the Class 2A state volleyball supersectional ended Thursday night by last year's Class 1A state champion.

Dakota beat the Lady Hawks 25-13 and 25-22 at the Byron Sectional Nov. 1. The win pits the Indians against Chicago University on Nov. 3 at the Pecatonica Super-Sectional.

The winner advances to the state tournament in Bloomington Nov. 9-10.
