Michael H. Drayton, 50, Forreston, died Saturday, Oct. 27, 2012 in his home.

He was born on Oct. 30, 1961 in Freeport, the son of Roland and Delores (Reinders) Drayton.

Mike was employed by Sweetwood Interiors, Frager Lawn Care, and the Village of Forreston.

He was a member of Forreston First United Methodist Church, the Forreston Fire Department and Ambulance.

He  was also a Boy Scout and a 1980 Forreston High School graduate.

Mike enjoyed attending Forreston High School sporting events and drinking coffee in the shops and restaurants.

Survivors include his brother, Tim (Michelle) Drayton, Forreston; nephew Trevor Drayton, Forreston; and uncles, aunts, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.

Funeral services will be Friday, Nov. 2 at 10:30 a.m. at Forreston First United Methodist Church. Rev. David Poust will officiate.

Visitation will be from Thursday, Nov. 1 from 3 to 7 p.m. at Burke-Tubbs Funeral Home, Forreston. Burial will be in White Oak Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established for EMT Scholarship Fund for the Forreston Fire Department.
