Local maple syrup to be served at Kiwanis pancake breakfast

The Oregon Kiwanis Club will serve a pancake breakfast on Saturday, April 28 from 7 a.m. to noon at the Oregon Coliseum.

The menu will include pancakes, sausage, hash browns, coffee, and juice.

Featured will be homemade maple syrup produced by the Oregon Park District.

Tickets are $5 per person.

Proceeds will be donated to Oregon Head Start and Girl Scout Troops 3526 and 3503.

At the same time, a Natural Resources Fair sponsored by the park district will be held upstairs in the Coliseum.

"Old World" crafts will be demonstrated and many items will be on display and for sale.
