The Easter Bunny will be hopping into town.

Oregon

The Oregon Park District will sponsor a Flashlight Egg Hunt for kids in grades 5-8 on Friday, April 6 at 7:30 p.m. at Oregon Park West.

An Easter Egg Hunt for youngsters in Pre-K through grade 4 will be held on Saturday, April 7 at 10 a.m. sharp at Oregon Park West.

Participants should bring a basket to collect eggs, candy, and prizes.

Forreston

The Forreston Lions Club will hold an Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 7 at 10 a.m. at the Forreston Memorial Park.

Children ages 0-10 are welcome.

The Leo's Club will have coffee and doughnuts for a free will donation.

They will also have three Easter baskets to be given away at a drawing.

Sign up for the drawing before 10 a.m.

In case of rain the hunt will be at the Forreston Grade School.

German Valley

The German Valley Lions Club will sponsor its annual Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 7 at 9 a.m. in Ben Miller Park, German Valley.

Special prizes and candy will be given away.

Children through the age of eight are welcome to participate.

Bring a camera.  The Easter Bunny will make an appearance.

Leaf River

The Leaf River Lions will host its annual Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 7 at 10 a.m. at the Bertolet Park, Leaf River.

The Easter Bunny will be there to share in the fun.

The event will include three age groups: 4 & under, 5 & 6, and 7& 8.

Parents are encouraged to bring a camera for the many photo opportunities.

In case of inclement weather the hunt will be held in the basement of the Bertolet Memorial Building.

Mt. Morris

A free community Easter “Eggstravaganza” will start at 10:30 a.m. with an egg hunt sponsored by the Mount Morris Lions Club in Dillehay Park, at the intersection of Stengel Drive and South Ogle Avenue.

At 11 a.m., the Veggie Tales movie “An Easter Carol” will be shown at Evangelical Free Church of Mount Morris, 102 S. Seminary Ave. Go to www.efcmm.org or call 815-734-4942 for more information.
