Ogle County Sheriff Arrests
Ogle County Sheriff Greg Beitel reports the following arrests.
Kaylah Mallen, 21, Rochelle, was arrested Feb. 23 on a traffic warrant. Mallen was released on $200 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on March 19.
Kamal Abdallah, 35, Patterson, New Jersey, was arrested Feb. 25 on an outstanding Ogle County warrant for failure to appear. He was released on bond.
Phillip S. Poe, 55, Leaf River, was arrested Feb. 25 on an outstanding Ogle County warrant for failure to appear. Poe posted bond and was released.
Chris J. Acree, 22, Dixon, was arrested Feb. 26 on a failure to appear warrant. Acree’s bond was setat $1,215.77. Acree was released on $1,000 recognizance bond and is scheduled to appear in court on July 26.
Mathew Michalak, 32, Rockford, was arrested Feb. 27 at 1:01 a.m. for driving while under the influence of alcohol and on a Boone County warrant. He was taken to the Ogle County Jail where he was held in lieu of bond. Michalak was arrested following a traffic stop in the 6,000 block of North Ill. 251.
Renee L. Rowe, 37, Rochelle, was arrested Feb. 27 at 5:37 p.m. for driving while license suspended and operation of vehicle while registration suspended for non-insurance. Rowe was arrested following a traffic stop in the 18,000 block of East Ill. 38.
Austin U. Gabriel, 18, Rochelle, was arrested Feb. 28 at 12:19 a.m. for the unlawful possession of alcohol as a minor, illegal transportation of alcohol, and cited for no rear registration light. Gabriel was arrested following a traffic stop in the 16,000 block of E. Ill. 38.
Brock Bosecker, 21, Monroe Center, was arrested Feb. 27 at 10:40 p.m. for driving while license suspended, unlawful possession of cannabis 10-30 grams, and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. The arrest was made following a traffic stop at the intersection of Pacific and Main Street in Monroe Center. Bosecker was transported to the Ogle County Jail where he was held in lieu of bond.
Dan J. Knaub, 21, Leaf River, was arrested March 1 on an outstanding failure to appear warrant for no insurance. He posted the full cash bond of $666 and was released with no further court date needed.
