Joseph Love Jr.

Joseph Love Jr.,  70, Polo, died Saturday, Feb. 27, 2010, at  KSB Hospital, Dixon.

He was an Operating Engineer Local 150, heavy equipment operator.

Love was born, July 29, 1939 in Meadville, Pa., the son of Joseph Sr. and Maud (Jeannerett) Love.

He married Audrey Stomberg on Aug. 6, 1972 in Oregon.

Love was a U.S. Army veteran.

Survivors include his wife, Audrey; daughter Amy, (Jeff McCurdy) Love, Polo; sons, Cory (Tanya Steder) Love, Oregon, Joey (Wendy) Love, Virginia, Jerry (Susan) Love,  Arizona; stepchildren, Barry (Laurie) Wilken, Arizona, Jeff (Nancy) Wilken, Danvers, and Rod Wilken, Rockford; 16 grandchildren; sister, Betty Fultz; and brother, Edward Love.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Donna and JoAnne. 

The funeral service will be Thursday, March 4 at 2:30 p.m. at Polo Family Funeral Home,  Polo. 

Visitation will be Thursday from 1 to 2:30 p.m., just prior to service, also at the Funeral Home

In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established.
