Oregon Police Chief Darin DeHaan reports the following activity for Jan. 11 through Jan. 17.

Jan. 11

At 1:35 a.m., police issued Silk P. Lumpkins, 35, Crystal Lake, a citation for driving while license suspended. This violation occurred in the 100 block of S. Fourth Street.

Jan. 12

At 4 p.m., police investigated a hit and run traffic crash that occurred in the parking lot of the Oregon Healthcare Center at 811 S. 10th Street where an unknown vehicle struck a parked 2000 Buick belonging to Cynthia S. Stocker of German Valley. Anyone having any information regarding this incident, please contact the Oregon Police Department at 815-732-2162.

At 7:10 p.m., police responded to a loud noise complaint at 407 S. Third Street, the downstairs apartment, resulting in the issuance of a city citation for violating the noise ordinance.

Jan. 13

At 1:30 p.m., police arrested Gerald L. Otten, 52, Oregon, on an outstanding Ogle County warrant for violation of orders of protection. Otten was transported to the Ogle County jail.

Jan. 14

At 7:20 p.m., police issued Keevin J. Hanes, 22, Clinton, Iowa, a citation for driving while license suspended. This violation occurred in the 600 block of Gale Street.

Jan. 15

At 4:33 a.m., police arrested Shane A. Schoenrock, 19, Byron, for illegal consumption as a minor. Schoenrock was transported to the Ogle County jail.

Jan. 16

At 1:30 a.m., police responded to 407 S. Third Street, Apt. A., for a loud music complaint resulting in the arrest of Brooke A. Lozano, 19, Oregon, for illegal consumption as a minor and Justin C. Christensen, 29, Rochelle, for obstructing justice. Both Lozano and Christensen were transported to the Ogle County jail.

At 7:34 a.m., police issued Malinda C. Hurt, 24, Stillman Valley, a citation for speeding—51 mph in a 30 mph zone. This violation occurred in the 100 block of N. Daysville.

At 12:05 p.m., police arrested Joseph Kovacs, 63, Rochelle, for theft $300 and under. Kovacs was transported to the Ogle County jail.

Jan. 17

At 6:55 p.m., police arrested Stephen P. Tucker, 19, Dixon, for possession of cannabis less than 2.5 grams. Tucker was transported to the Ogle County jail.
